Tommy Fyfe has been communicating with loyal blues fans and converting new disciples around Ontario for the last twenty years. From small acoustic lounges to crowds of thousands at outdoor festivals, Tommy Fyfe and The Whiskey River Blues Band’s vast repertoire of great grooves draw people in and keeps them moving. The band is made up of Tymmy Fyfe on guitar and vocals, Pete Larabie on keys, Steve Malick on drums and vocals, Andy Bedard on Bass, Stephanie Fyfe on vocals and JoPo on vocals. Tom has opened for and played on stage with many great bluesmen from Downchild to Dutch Mason, Maurice John Vaughn, Michael Pickett and Jack de Keyzer.

Dr. Tom’s Blues Tonic, a cd of nine original tunes has been very well received, has air time on a growing number of blues radio programs and demonstrates the versatility and passion of this multi-instrumentalist and songwriter.

Chosen as one of six finalists for the Toronto Blues Society’s Canada Wide Talent Search, the band lays it down and keeps the whole venue cookin’.

Tommy and his Whiskey River Blues Band have been playing regularly, backing top blues players that come to Sudbury, such as Paul James, David Rotundo, Lee Oscar, John Mays, Al Lerman and Chuck Jackson, to name a few. Tommy and the band are currently preparing to record a new cd.
