Getting to the Festival

We've made it easy for you to get to the Jazz Sudbury Festival this year!

Free Public Transit: All advance ticket holders can ride Greater Sudbury Transit to and from the Festival, simply by showing the bus driver your ticket or wristband.

Off-site Parking and Shuttle Service: There are two official off-site parking lots for the Jazz Sudbury Festival, with free shuttle service leaving to and from each location on regular intervals. They are: Elgin Street, behind the Walrus Underground (formerly Books and Beans), and on Paris Street (across from Bell Park).

Kellylee Evans to Perform Free Concert Festival Weekend

Kellylee Evans, one of Canada's hottest young jazz stars, has been added to the Jazz Sudbury Festival lineup, and will perform a free concert at Laurentian University's Fraser Auditorium on Sunday, September 12. The concert will be the official wrap-up event for the 2nd annual Jazz Sudbury Festival, and is generously sponsored by Laurentian University. The concert will start at 7:00 p.m., with opening act, Borealis Jazz Quartet, featuring Brian Quebec, Allan Walsh, Tony Simpkin, Jack Broumpton, and special guests. Seating is limited and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Tickets Now On Sale at Sudbury RBC Royal Bank Locations

You can now purchase Jazz Sudbury Festival tickets with cash at all RBC Royal Bank locations in Greater Sudbury, including weekend Jazz Passes and separate tickets for Friday night, Saturday night, and Saturday afternoon. You can also buy tickets online or by phone at 705-673-7770.

Early bird Jazz Pass Tickets On Sale Until July 31st

You can now purchase Jazz Passes for the 2010 Festival online for a reduced price of $60. After July 31, the price will increase to $75. Jazz Passes gain you access to the Friday night concert, featuring Manteca and Brandi Disterheft, all day and night Saturday, including the feature performances by Oliver Jones and Alex*Cuba, as well as access to all after-hours venues in downtown Sudbury. Elizabeth Shepherd, Carlos del Junco, Carlos Bernardo and More Added to Festival Lineup

We're pleased to announce that Elizabeth Shepherd, Carlos del Junco, Carlos Bernardo, Sundar Viswanathan, and Elena Kapeleris have been added to the Jazz Sudbury Festival's Saturday afternoon lineup, along with local bands What the Funk?, Hilary Welch & Brood Bop, Tuba Boy and The Sarah Craig Jazz Workout. Local bands Broche à Foin (Saturday) and Stéphane Paquette (Friday) have also been added to the evening performances. Oliver Jones, Ranee Lee, Manteca, and more at 2010 Festival

Jazz Sudbury announced yesterday that the 2010 Jazz Sudbury Festival will be headlined by jazz legend Oliver Jones, who will be performing alongside his long-time collaborators Ranee Lee and Richard Ring. Opening for Oliver Jones on Saturday night will be Cuban-Soul-Rock icon Alex*Cuba. On Friday night, the high-octane jazz group Manteca will headline, along with up-and-coming jazz sensation Brandi Disterheft.

Jazz Sudbury couldn't exist without the help of our dedicated volunteers. Volunteering at the festival is a great way to have fun, meet new friends, and listen to world-class music.
